Americans ‘Right to Be Concerned’ About Iranian Sleeper Cells Embedded in the U.S.

The Biden administration’s open border policies have created a dangerous national security crisis, as highlighted by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) during Monday’s appearance on ‘Fox & Friends.’

With over 1,500 Iranian nationals allowed into the country under Biden’s lax immigration enforcement—and more than 700 permitted to remain—the administration has essentially rolled out the red carpet for potential terrorist operatives.

“The White House is warning about threats from sleeper cells here in the US,” said host Brian Kilmeade. “Why would they think that? Well, over the past four years of Joe Biden’s policies, we’ve let in more than 1,500 Iranian nationals. That’s according to border patrol… and guess what? More than 700 were allowed to stay. Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Tom Cotton knows everything about this. Senator, people are concerned about sleeper cells.”

“Unfortunately, they have good reason to worry,” Cotton replied. “As you mentioned, Joe Biden has had a wide-open border policy for four years. We know that terrorists have attempted to enter our country. Iran has a long history of terrorizing America, going back 46 years, including here in the United States. They tried to kill Donald Trump last year. Someone finally answered Iran’s fatwa against Salman Rushdie a few years ago and brutally stabbed him. But I think it’s important that we remember Iran didn’t become a terrorist state because Donald Trump bombed their nuclear facilities. He bombed their nuclear facilities because they are a terrorist state. And we cannot allow a terrorist state to have nuclear weapons.”
